 Originally slated for January 2021, the Baltimore City Plastic Bag Ban has been postponed until July 2021.  Please be advised that Mayor Scott and the Baltimore City Council are supporting the temporary delay, but are fully committed to making Baltimore a more sustainable and environmentally aware city. 

 
Please begin preparation NOW for the transition away from plastic bags.

The Homeowners' Property Tax Credit program is now available to qualified Maryland homeowners who meet specific requirements.

1. Your name must be on the deed..
2. You must live in the house full time.
3. Your net worth must be less than $200,000, not including the value of the house or any qualified retirement savings or Individual Retirement Accounts.
4. Your combined gross household income cannot exceed $60,000.
